KIM, Sung Hwan
director, writer, cinematographer
KIM Sung Hwan graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
During his junior year at the university, he started producing experimental videos and short films.
He earned an M.F.A. degree in film directing from Dongguk University Graduate School of Digital Image and Contents.
Continuing his career in filmmaking, he attended the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) majoring in film directing, where he made his first feature film, <Iron Mask> (Original Title: Manbun-ui Ilcho).
Alumnus of the 2026 International Film Festival Rotterdam Talent Lab.
